Etna Alcantara Tour
A wonderful and spectacular tour: Etna and Alcantara represent two flagships of Sicily, from the immense and infinite skiing of Etna, to the smooth gray basalt, to the icy waters of Alcantara.
It is advisable to bring your swimsuit to explore the river.
It is possible to have lunch at a typical Sicilian rotisserie or by lunch, as you prefer.
For children up to 4 years old the tour is free; no payment is required.
For children aged between 5 and 10 years, there is a 50% discount on the cost of the tour.

At the car park in front of the LIDL in Via Regina del Cielo 8 in Fiumefreddo Sicilia (Catania).
Tour
- Departure at 8.45am from your facility or neighboring village in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, we will climb along the northern side passing through Linguaglossa, the last village before entering the Etna park, a world heritage site.
- Having reached an altitude of 1800 MT, we will make a stop near the lateral lava flow of 2002, where the guide will explain in detail what happened on 27 October 2002.
- Subsequently, with the minibus we will go towards the eastern side where, in addition to the vegetation, the landscape will also be different; we will arrive in a volcanic desert from 1865. You will follow the explanation of both the formation of the lateral craters and the lava flow.
- We will then climb the explosive and eruptive lateral craters.
- Once the trekking is over we will visit an eruptive apparatus inside.
- After this stage, you can have lunch of your choice at a typical Sicilian rotisserie, typical street food.
- After lunch we will go to explore the wonderful Alcantara river with its icy waters and its immense basalt walls.
- You can take advantage of them to have a nice swim and explore the Alcantara gorges.
